Design means any new design of the shape, the pattern, or their combination, or the combination of color with shape or pattern of a product, which creates an aesthetic feeling and is fit for industrial application.

Requirement for Application

1. The name and address of applicant and designer;

2. Priority details including the priority date, filing number, the basic filing country and a certified priority document; if priority is claimed;

3. Power of Attorney executed by applicant;

4. Line drawings or photographs cover the six views of the product (i.e. front, rear, top, bottom, right and left) and a perspective views (if available), the background of the photo should be as blank and empty as possible;

5. Brief Description (if necessary). The brief description indicates the main creative portion of the design, the colors for which protection is sought and the omission of the view of the product.
